There are no formal prerequisites for entry into this training program. However, prospective learners will be screened against the following criteria to ensure suitability and support successful participation:

• Completion of Year 10, or equivalent education, work, or life experience

• Basic computer and digital skills

• Sound Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills. Learners may be required to complete an LLN assessment as part of the enrolment process

• A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for all students studying in Australia. (Offshore learners undertaking online study only may be exempt.)

Learners who do not initially meet LLN or digital skill requirements may still be able to enrol, provided the trainer endorses the enrolment and appropriate support strategies are implemented. Additional support may be provided to assist learner success.

Instructor-led Virtual Class: $500 upfront enrolment fee + 17 monthly payments of $235.29 = Total $4,500

Online Self-Study: $500 upfront enrolment fee + 17 monthly payments of $176.50 = Total $3,500

Delivery Options:

• Instructor-led virtual classroom via MS Teams

• Online self-paced learning via the Learning Management System (LMS)

Duration: Learners typically complete the course within 12–18 months when studying part-time. A generous enrolment period of up to 24 months is provided to support flexible progression through the program.

Classes: One class per week, 3 hours per class.

All learners, whether participating in online instructor-led virtual classes or self-paced online learning, will be assessed using a variety of methods designed to ensure they demonstrate the required skills and knowledge for the qualification. Assessment may include:

• Observation – during role play or simulation activities (conducted virtually if applicable)

• Questioning – may include self-assessment, verbal answers, written questionnaires, activity modules, or interviews

• Structured Activities – may include projects, case studies, presentations, demonstrations, role plays, or progressive tasks

Note: For fully online learners, practical activities such as role plays or demonstrations will be adapted for remote completion while maintaining validity and reliability of assessment.
